Light a Candle
Mr.Jay Hopper died unexpectedly/peacefully in his home in Bennett Colorado on Monday, June 3, 2019 at the age of 69. Jay is survived by his daughter Amanda Dayton and grandchildren Khrystalena Dayton and Alexander Hopper. Jay is preceded in death by Jaylin Hopper, Marie Hopper, and Jason Hopper of Bennett Colorado. Jay was born on Friday, October 5, 1950 in Denver Colorado to Jaylin Hopper and Marie Hopper. He graduated from Bennett High School in 1968 with a high school diploma. Jay married Nicky Hopper, his high school sweetheart on Monday, July 1, 1979. Soon after getting married Jay and Nicky welcomed 2 beautiful twins on Wednesday, January 3, 1981. Jay worked as a truck driver with Nicky by his side until Monday, December 1, 2015 when both of them retired. A remembrance is scheduled for Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 10am at the Bennett community park Bennett, Colorado 80102 , with a Barbecue to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jays life.
